We process laundry to our clients’ exact specifications and for their convenience. Our laundry experts work with our clients in order to develop a plan that best meets their budget and needs.
We offer a wide range of complete and comprehensive laundromat and dry-cleaning professional services to individuals and businesses in a variety of industries in both private and public sectors. Our service structure is designed to cater for all entity types including Companies, State Owned Entities, Close Corporations, Partnerships, Sole Proprietors and Individuals. Our service offering includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- In store drop and go wash, dry and iron laundromat and dry-cleaning services;
- Alterations; and
- Shoe cleaning and repairs.
In terms of our standard operating process, we always ensure that our laundry and dry-cleaning service adhere to the following guidelines:
- Collection record keeping: When we collect laundry items from our clients we record all linen that need to be collected at our client’s facilities;
- Handling: We handle contaminated/dirty laundry as little as possible with minimal agitation. In order to avoid any contamination, we ensure that we do not sort or rinse laundry items at the location where it was used;
- Transportation: We ensure that clean linen is transported and stored by methods that will reduces the risk of cross contamination and ensure its cleanliness. In instances where contaminated laundry is wet and presents a possibility of leakage, we endeavor to use and place same in leak-proof bags;
- Sorting: Gloves and other appropriate protective apparel are always worn by laundry personnel while sorting soiled and dirty laundry items;
- Washing: We always ensure that our client’s laundry is washed with a temperature relevant to the type of items washed. For instance, a temperature of at least 71 degrees C (160 F) is normally used for a minimum of 25 minutes for hot-water washing with chlorine bleach to provide an extra margin of safety;
- Ironing: Linen is ironed for neatness in order to provide additional significant microbicidal action;
- Packaging: All the clean linen is wrapped, labelled and packed for each client according to collection records; and
- Delivery: We provide timely deliveries, supported by a delivery note, of the correct clean laundry to the address agreed upon with our client
